and also, don't forget, between now and 30 years from now, any one of us could buy the big farm,"I still feel that it's worth mentioning because for some, revisiting these games in the future does matter. Pocket Camp ID: 1616 7567 in 30 years that probably wont matter lol. I think the main takeaway is that no matter which version you get, your saves cannot be backed up and are on the console. I'm very comfortable with digital titles, largely, I suppose, due to my playing mostly on XB, for which Live has been around since early days on the original XB.

In any event, I think it comes down to what you're most comfortable with.

I think it likely that it won't be an issue moving forward, since Nintendo now has their own server my understanding was that the Wii used a third party server? At this point, it looks like you can still download purchased titles, but that can go away at any point. But I haven't played that system in years.

I did purchase a couple of Wii Shop titles, which I think are still on my Wii. cartridges, do have the potential to be damaged, so taking good care of them and keeping track of them is necessary. Well, it's possible that you won't be able to re-download them at some future point, but if they're still on your console, you can, of course, keep playing them. However, it's a good point that access to digital copies can be discontinued in future. I still have it on my 3DS and have had zero problems with it. However, when I open it up and start playing from the beginning, it does not save anything on the new switch and if I close out of the game and reopen it, I have to start completely from the beginning again.I purchased a digital copy of ACNH and was able to start playing it at 11pm on 6/8. I don't want to have to delete my island on my lite, so if I have to then I am willing to repurchase animal crossing for the new switch, but the eshop only gives me the option to redownload animal crossing since I have digitally bought it once on my account. My lite has animal crossing downloaded and I want to also have animal crossing on my new switch. I understand that you can't transfer your island to a new switch, which is not what I want to do. However, I am a bit confused about the primary vs secondary switch process and am having some issues with animal crossing. I love it and wished that I had gotten the regular switch especially because of the quarantine so after days of searching and refreshing I was able to get one from Best Buy. Hi, So I'm relatively new to the switch and got a lite in November.
